Walker Trimble is a Senior Lecturer in the Philology Faculty of St. Petersburg University, Russia (Department of Advanced Qualification). He received his PhD in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, with the dissertation Principles and Development of the Brahmanical Sutra Genre. He is the author of several articles and the translator of numerous texts. He has numerous interests in theology, aesthetics, phenomenology and the ways these disciplines orient the changes wrought in the human person under the pressures of technocratic innovation.
