Indrė Bielevičiūtė

Indrė Bielevičiūtė was a Master programme student at the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy at Vilnius University until July 2019. She participated in the project about migrant families, funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (2017-2019). Her research interests focus on transnational family conceptualization, cross-border family practices using visual research methods. She has co-authored (with I. Juozeliūnienė and I. Budginaitė-Mačkinė) a chapter ‘Transnational families in Lithuania: multidimensionality of social relationships and their reorganization’ in Multiethnic and transnational families in Europe. Gender and generations (2017) and a study ‘Implementation of Return Migration Politics in Lithuania: Experts About Challenges and Coping Mechanisms’ (2019).
