Aurelijus Vijūnas

Aurelijus Vijūnas studied Icelandic philology and Germanic comparative linguistics at the University of Iceland, as well as Indo-European linguistics at the University of California (Los Angeles). His research interests include Icelandic, Germanic, and Indo-European linguistics, historical phonetics, and mythology. Currently, Aurelijus Vijūnas is Associate Professor of English phonetics and historical linguistics at National Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan. He has translated the Poetic Edda from Old Norse into Lithuanian, and authored a number of articles on Indo-European and Germanic linguistics, as well as Old Norse literature.
