Ieva Steponavičiūtė Aleksiejūnienė

Ieva Steponavičiūtė Aleksiejūnienė is Associate Professor at the Centre for Scandinavian Studies, Vilnius University. She holds a Master’s degree in English philology and a PhD in literature from Vilnius University, and has been a visiting fellow at Georg Brandes School of research (Copenhagen University, 2005 and 2006). Ieva Steponavičiūtė Aleksiejūnienė has authored a number of articles on modern Scandinavian literature, as well as a monograph on the aspects of play in Karen Blixen’s writings (2011). She serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Scandinavistica Vilnensis series, and on the Board of IASS (International Association of Scandinavian Studies).
