Ivars Orehovs

Ivars Orehovs is Associate Professor at the Department of Comparative Studies, Translation and Interpreting, University of Latvia (Riga). He majored in German philology at the University of Latvia, and later studied historical cultural contacts at Moscow State University (Russia), as well as the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), receiving his DPhil in 1992. He has published in the field of history of literature and cultural relations (the Baltic states, German-speaking countries, Italy, Scandinavia).
